Oh Look theres another bittern

Went to RSPB Dungeness yesterday with Howard and the boozy birders,it was a cracking day out with shed loads of species seen,we started off at the beach where we had hundreds of guillemots, razorbills, red throated divers, plenty of kittewakes, cormorants, gulls,an eider, just an amazing seawatching experience.
We then went to Dungeness itself, starting at the ARC where we had bittern, ducks including Goldeneye and Smew,Chiffchaffs x 5,Water rail heard,Tree Sparrows and a couple of Firecrest.
On the main site we continued with Bittern, seeing an amazing 10 sightings which consisted of at least 7 birds, another amazing experience. We had a Woodcock,Buzzard, plenty of Marsh Harriers, sheep, fox, rabbits lol
We then went to Scotney pits, where we had 20 White Fronted Geese,Barnacles and a few dodgy ones like Bar headed and Emperor,we also had a few Bewicks.
Back to the Arc where Bittern was seen again twice another couple of Woodcock and a Merlin.
Top day out and i think i may go back tomorrow or thursday, bosh
