This weather sucks

This weather sucks,on a plus note though,i wouldn't of been able to do much birding today as i have been working since 8am this morning (its now 4pm) and i am back to work at 6pm until around 2.30pm,by which time the storms and storm force winds that are supposed to batter the London area will have subsided.I am up London twice tonight,taking a party of 8 girls on a fancy dress party,complete with stockings and suspenders i am told and i have an elderly couple who are into birdwatching,so both journeys will have their benfits lol.
AFC Hornchurch played Grays in a friendly at lunchtime today,winning 3-0,goals from mckenzie (2) and Tambeson Eyong,this is our 2nd win on the bounce so lets hope we can build on this.
Birdwise today,had a Sparrowhawk female hunting round the back of our garages and a Song Thrush on the garage,apart from that there were Herring gulls & Black Headed Gullsas i went over the Thames at Putney Bridge on my way to Gatwick earlier.
Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be sunny and around 10c so i am off to Thurrock Thameside EWT site again to see if i can find the Short Eared Owl and to get a decent shot of it at last.
