Travelled to Wembley this afternoon to watch AFC Hornchurch play Hendon in the Ryman Premier, leaders Billericay could only draw with Horsham so Hornchurch go and lose to Hendon FFS
We lost 2-0,the second coming two minutes into injury time when we had just hit the post,we should of got the point but we move on.Tuesday we are away to Carshalton where we really must win.
Anyway, enough about football. This morning i headed down to Broadfield Farm,no migrants in yet but i had a good morning seeing the usual stuff, getting some pictures.I found not one but two Green Sandpipers, they flew over my head and landed on the "scrape we can't see" just outside the site, grrrrr, still i saw them and Lee who was with his young son Heath saw one after a few failed attempts
The young masn, obviously overrawed by such a significant turn of events!!!!
Other birds of note,i didn't see any Bullfinch but heard a couple of birds, although i didn't really look early on which is the best time.Had a few Redpoll & Siskins in the Alders and good numbers of Greenfinch were around,Redwings are still quite frequent and my first Fieldfare for about a week was nice.
Anyway, have some photos!!!! (PS Sorry about the dead Rabbit but thats nature)
